An integer is what can be called a "whole number"; the error message suggests you are trying to enter something else, namely a floating point number. The " might also be two 's, indicating that maybe the inputed value is nothing - empty field. And "nothing", of course, would also not be an integer
Logically, when you auto-generate a task force, the editor would fill in working numbers, so it's no suprise it's working there - I suggest comparing what you try to save to an auto-generated task force, and see if you use any points where the auto-force doesn't, or left any fields blank.
