Changing order of Cameos
#1
Question
How do I change the order/tab that items appear in the sidebar? At the moment all my defenses are appearing last and my superweapons first ... not a good idea.

Any pointers? Big Grin

I think it depends on the TechLevel of the unit, and I think its Soylent value.

I think there's a tutorial on ModEnc for this somewhere.
I know it uses TechLevel, Cost and position in object array (e.g. BuildingTypes list in the case of base defenses)
Don't think it uses Soylent but there may be some other factors.

However, I believe the superweapons are always first, and this cannot be changed.
Ever wondered what the hell is going on?
Believe me friend you're not the only one.

I meant the superweapon structures... i.e. the nuclear silo and the iron curtain would appear before the sentry gun. I'll search on ModEnc now.

... I found a cameo sorting tutorial. I'll try it out tommorrow, but I have a feeling that the problem is sol-ved.

<offtopic> I find the ModEnc to be rather useful, better than Deezire's guide. The problem is that my main computer lab is 50 metres away from any internet source. Oh well. </offtopic>
