Just wondering, if pd came back and started to code, how mutch would progress speed increase?

*Not saying the current speed i slow, its rather fast!*

Last time he returned, he picked up issues that had absolutely nothing to do with the current schedule, neither bug- nor feature-wise.

So in no way at all. In fact, given that the additional features introduced will likely have bugs that need to be ironed out, overall progress might even slow.
