hey, so i tried to post in an old thread, but it didnt work :/

so here i am, pestering you again for the update to the GREATEST MOD EVER.

how is purple alert? lol, im sure by now you are working on starcraft 2 or diablo 7 or something much cooler, but some old friends of mine wanted to play red alert and i told them we HAD to play purple alert.

anyways, just thought id stop by and see how things are going

edit: i realize i didnt make it very clear in this post, but i AM looking for purple alert 8 any word?

I am really sorry to all of those eagerly awaiting PA8 (and UFO come to mention it). It IS on my list and WILL make use of Ares.
I've just been so busy with work and life lately that I haven't had time - please keep bumping this thread every so often and I will try to get it done soon.

I'll probably go for an initial major release and update it as time goes on (so PA8.1, 8.2, etc rather than a PA9).

I really don't want to be like how DeeZire finished, promising an amazing new version and never delivering so I will try to focus on this soon!

oh embarrasment. have been very busy with moving house lately although did manage to do some lan testing of PA8.
Still working on it!

good luck with moving, moved from california to florida recently so i understand your pain.

I feel like I'm letting the fans down with the delay. My life is so hectic right now - I work long hours and am getting married soon so my time is completely out the airlock. I'm taking a much needed holiday soon.

I will try to get PA8 ready, or at least release what has been done so far. There are a couple of weird bugs with the AI and one or 2 units missing/not working but I may have to release a beta ahead of time.
