While I cannot say whether or not this is a common/known/identifiable EIP, please note that, in general, we do not support NPatch here.
If you look up VK's posting history here, you will find that it's his openly admitted policy not to test his code for bugs - as a result, it's pretty much pointless to try to give any support, since anything and everything could break for a variety of reasons at any given moment.
I believe VK is lurking at PPM at the moment, but I'm not sure. If you want NPatch support, we suggest going to him.
