Game freeze

Every time i try to update syringe and ares through launch base i get a

Syringe update check failed - failed to download revision data
and
Ares update check failed - failed to download revision data.

We're having some trouble with the online SVN interface, which LaunchBase uses IIRC. When Renegade wakes up, he'll (hopefully) fix it

Okay, Ezikio, the log shows only the following files being added as part of the mod:
hva\altnk.hva
hva\altnktur.hva
hva\mcv.hva
shp\acony.shp
shp\aconymk.shp
shp\acony_a.shp
shp\e1.shp
vxl\altnk.vxl
vxl\altnktur.vxl
vxl\mcv.vxl

Can you try removing these files from the mod so you are effectively just launching an empty mod that runs on Ares. Do you still get the freeze then?

Ezikio's problem was also discussed on IRC. The problem only occurs when using Ares/Syringe.

Ezikio, try following the instructions on the forum for running Ares without Launch Base - see if you still get the problem.

What version of Windows are you running? Any special add-ons or configuration?

Have yout ried setting compatibility mode on any of the game's executables, or setting them to run-as-administrator?

I've fixed the problem i was having, i ended up doing a destructive recovery on my pc and it worked when i installed it.
