YR Win64 (x64) Patch
#1
Win64(x64) Patch for C&C Yuri's Revenge

Installation
Simple copy YR_x64_Patch.exe into YR directory and run it.
Then press "Start".

Patch can be installed on original YR 1.001 and all Rock Patch versions.
Patch can't be installed on YR 1,000 version.
You should install YR 1.001 update.

After patch your CPU speed in YR will be 0 Mhz...

Later, I will move it to FileFortress if Ren will allow me to do it.

Does this patch gamemd.exe? If so, aren't there compatibility issues for future RP patches?
Ever wondered what the hell is going on?
Believe me friend you're not the only one.

Well my patch generator will probably complain that the source file doesn't match.

Is this not something that can just be included in RockPatch regardless of CPU/OS type?

It's RP-independent, like future high-speed patches Smile

My patcher won't like it. The source exe has to be an exact match. That's why I suggested you incorporate into RockPatch instead of having it as an independent patch.

What we could do (thinking about Launch Base here) is have the RockPatch include this fix as standard, and have a separate patch for the original gamemd.exe
That would be fairly easy to implement with Launch Base.

No .
In this case, people should install patch after installing RockPatch.

since you insist that you must have the exact version of rockpatch for a mod, launchbase automaticly removes and installs different versions of rockpatch, therefore you need to have the correct original.

an idea would be to encorperate it into rockpatch, is there anyway to detect a 64bit operating system?

RockPatch and this patches - different things.
RockPatch extend YR engine.
BTW YR Win64 (x64) Patch not fix the problem - it only prevent it Tongue

I've been talking to a friend, aparantly, Vista OEM has a 32bit version and a 64bit version, with no support for the other.
however Vista Retail and Upgrade are 32bit and 64bit combined.

No. All Win64 systems can execute Win32 (x86) programs.
on x64 directly, on another (like IA64) - emulation.

well, i presume he means the windows vista OEM 64bit uses 32bit emulation.
where the retail and upgrade versions don't emulate.
