the lighting you've used for the rad seems off too, i specified exactly the same colours as the normal radiation, except rotated to cyan/turquise, and this is what i got. maybe its because i use 100% blue and 50% green that its brighter? just looks a big white to me. although, i do like the current effect, looks very ice-like.
the crazy thing is, why is there a second RAD field???
it apears seemingly random... its not because it generates particles using the same warhead is it(it's been a while since i looked, but isn't RAD on the weapon?)? surely it'd add more than just 1 extra field if it did, and if it is because of the particle system of the railgun, why does it sometimes apear behind the troop? nowhere near where the weapon is fired?
