New sides in Ares use the Soviet sidebar as template (just like NPatch). Any Allied sidebar used on a new side will look off and must be manually fixed (and vice versa, Allied and Soviet interface offsets are not the same).

you say we can't customize the sidebar.

What?

No. I'm saying that if you use a sidebar which uses the Allied template will look off on sides which assume Soviet template and vice versa. Only the first side uses the Allied template for positioning it's buttons, rest use Soviet. http://www.ppmsite.com/forum/viewtopic.p...324cc05f39

I told you why it got messed up, the offsets must be fixed manually to correct the sidebar.

oh, well... I expected you to read that damned documentation.

[Side]►Sidebar.MixFileIndex= (integer)
The MIX file number to use for the sidebar (e.g. 1 for the Allied sidec01.mix, 2 for the Soviet sidec02.mix).
[Side]►Sidebar.YuriFileNames= (boolean)
Whether or not to use the Yuri sidebar file names (sidec02md.mix and the Yuri-specific files within that MIX).

Your sidec04 needs Sidebar.MixFileIndex=4 and Sidebar.YuriFileNames= (default) and your IQ level also needs a buff.

Is your new country listed as belonging to that side?

Off Topic: If DCoder and Graion are so stupid why not not use their products? Oh wait, then you wouldn't have Ares, Rockpatch OR NPatch.

NOOO.

If you use yes there, then of course it won't work. Then it's expected to be sidecmd04.mix and even different files inside (like radaryuri.shp instead of simple radar.shp)

EDIT... Oh, I forgot adding no into my previous post (which is the default)... well, ok, I was confusable there because my mind was more forward than my fingers.
