Guys. Compatibility mode. That's the fix iirc. I had similar issues, it loaded differently with different compatibility modes.
Maybe try to make both gamemd.exe and Syringe work on the same compatibility mode? IIRC Win. 98 was the best. Dunno. I might be wrong tho.
