Eventually I got sick and tired go I tried starting again... But the problem was in the RULES.ini file! In [105mm] I had typed c=Cannon!!!!

This made an IE anytime somebody built a Grizzly Battle Tank. Bang head against wall

Oh well, problem's solvered now.
