#16
IE? Are you talking about IE (internet explorer) or the Internal Error?
If it is Internet Exp, none. I use Chrome (of the almighty Google ©) <- Thats advertising right?

I meant Internet Explorer, pardon the confusion. Did you uninstall it or just never updated it? Windows depends on that thing and some features would not work without it. If you didn't do anything to it, it should still be IE 6.0 in WinXP SP2.

Any luck with reinstalling the VB6 runtime files?

(Microsoft's worse. They put little TMs behind everything. Everything is a trademark to them.)

I installed Chrome, left IE for what it was, removed icons and sh*t.

Again, without result... Before that I installed VB6SP5 RT files, also without result.

Hmm. The only thing I can think of now would be the Scripting Runtime that may be used for getting the installed mods.

If this does not work, I have no idea.

Thanks again Alex, you're sure making things easier for me.

I wonder if simply including scrrun.dll with Launch Base would have solved this...
Ever wondered what the hell is going on?
Believe me friend you're not the only one.

Check out Launch Base for RA2/YR - http://marshall.strategy-x.com
Also home to the Purple Alert mod, 1.002 UMP, and the YR Playlist Manager.

Hi Marshall,

this would most likely create a versioning problem.
Scrrun.dll and companions depend on the Windows version.

The best way would be to distribute the installers along with LB,
but this would increase the size vastly.
