RE: Launch Base Beta Test - Marshall - 30.07.2008 Launch Base Wrote:Version 0.99.121 [2008-07-30]I also fixed a bug in the installer for first-time users where the default install directory was pointing to the RA2 executable. RE: Launch Base Beta Test - Marshall - 04.08.2008 Launch Base Wrote:Version 0.99.200 [2008-08-04] - First public beta test release The beta test is now public. I should stress that the DCoder DLL is still in production so only pre-compiled mods will work 100%. UMP8 is released too (get it via the mod catalogue). The download URL for the Launch Base setup program is http://marshall.cannis.net/LaunchBase/LB_Setup.exe RE: Launch Base Beta Test - Marshall - 23.08.2008 Updates to both LB and LBMC today. DCoder and pd will be especially interested in these updates (more on that later). I am in the process of moving the website so most auto-update stuff is broken right now. For now you'll have to download updates manually: http://marshall.strategy-x.com/LaunchBase/LB_Setup.exe http://marshall.strategy-x.com/LaunchBase/LBMC_Setup.exe Bugtracker section - gordon-creAtive - 26.08.2008 I'd like to notify everyone that there's a brand new LaunchBase category at the bugtracker - I don't know if this is official, but using this system makes issue tracking and solving more easier! Edit by DCoder: bad english. RE: Launch Base Beta Test - Marshall - 27.08.2008 Indeed yes. If there's a bug or feature request that you can express with clarity in the bugtracker then please do. RE: Launch Base Beta Test - MRMIdAS - 02.09.2008 "Component 'msinet.ocx' or one of it's dependancies is not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid EDIT: file can be downloaded HERE just put it in the launch base directory. Please let me know. RE: Launch Base Beta Test - MRMIdAS - 03.09.2008 YAHOO! That's a yo general! RE: Launch Base Beta Test - hogo - 03.09.2008 Im not sure if this counts as Launch Base or Counts as Ares but Considering you download the Map pack from Launch Base I guess this is the place. You activate plugin I thought UMP 1.002 Mini patch supported the Map pack? well it seems not to display the maps and crashes if you click the very bottom option in the maps list named weirdly. except added. RE: Launch Base Beta Test - Marshall - 03.09.2008 Thank you both. There are lots of strange problems with the map packs right now, however I'm fairly certain that LB isn't responsible for the IEs. I'll try to fix the LB issues tomorrow and then we'll see if the IEs still occur. RE: Launch Base Beta Test - Marshall - 03.09.2008 I haven't been able to replicate the crash, but the issue with maps not showing up has been fixed in build 217. Please can you try again and let me know if you can replicate the crash. I am now closing this generic beta test thread as the beta is now public and getting more aggressive testing - please can any new bug reports be posted as separate threads in this forum. Thanks. EDIT: I won't be announcing every new LB build released - major bug fixes and new features will still be announced somewhere. |
