Yeah, don't post that much text in one post please!
Now, I would like you to do the following:
1. Go to Tools > Options
2. Untick the 'Advanced Mode' checkbox. Click Yes to confirm.
3. Click OK
4. Exit Launch Base
5. Restart Launch Base.
You should find that Ares works correctly now, provided you launch a mod that has been set up for Ares.
To set up your own mod for use with Launch Base, get Launch Base Mod Creator.
You also need to read the Launch Base Help Topics.
Do NOT enable Advanced Mode - this is not intended for you!
