It seems to be your modfiles, honestly.

There are two possibilities:
A, your modfiles in the RA2 directory are read-only. Get that off.
B, one of those modfiles are opened with another program. Close that application, modify the files within your mod's folder if you're using LB, not from RA2's folder.

You didn't kill syringe.exe? It should terminate itself after YR closes, but it might have stuck behind, which would explain why its log cannot be moved.

No. It wasn't Syringe what he killed. But without your post I wouldn't thought about that, DCoder. Thanks for the hint. Wink

LaunchBase is programmed to be frozen if Red Alert 2 or Yuri's Revenge is running, that's intentional and the XCC Mod Launcher has the same behavior. When YR closes, it will reactivate itself. I guess you Alt-Tabbed out from YR, and saw that LB's frozen, so you killed it and restarted.

Don't do it next time. Yeah, there is no response from LB to the Task Manager while a RA2 is running... but only while a RA2 is running, It will come back alive after RA2 is exited.
