Some Question About Syringe & Ares
#16
I have no idea why it would be needed, I'm not making use of any MFC features.

Well, it's Microsoft's compiler...it's probably a "feature".

How do you launch YR from Syringe? I've tried, and all that happens when I run Syringe is this:
Syringe injects the error checker enhancement, and not Ares, and then does nothing else at all

Nothing I've seen on these forums is helping me one bit, sorry but that's just how it is for me.

I've tried just about all of your suggestions, and they haven't worked.

Judging from the description, you have the error checker dll and not Ares.

Actually I do have the Ares.dll file, and Syringe is simply ignoring it.

Then you don't have Ares.dll.inj ? syringe.log will most likely tell you what's going on.

I do have Ares.dll.inj as well, that's why I'm asking these questions. What's more, syringe.log is telling me everything I don't need to know.

* DCoder puts on the psychic hat, sees the syringe.log content and solves the problem

I'm just trying to get Syringe to read Ares.dll and Ares.dll.inj, but it just won't.

Do I have the wrong gamemd.syr file or something?

BTW, I'm not stupid, I'm just struggling to get my head around this Syringe system because it's so complicated in comparison to the previous RockPatches,
where all you have to do is run an EXE file and it's installed.

LaunchBase isn't helping me either.
