Tools updated! - VK - 13.04.2007 Here you can find: 1)OS SHP Builder 3.35 U (Banshee, Stucuk and PaD) 2)XCC AV Player 1.45 U (Olaf Van Der Spek) 3)XCC Mix Editor 1.45 U (Olaf Van Der Spek) 4)XCC Mixer 1.45 U (Olaf Van Der Spek) All XCC tools is the lastest from XCC site (version 1.45). You should replace old exe file by new ones. You must update only XCC 1.45. Download it here: http://files.renegadeprojects.com/Rock%20The%20Battlefield/C&CVK_s_Files/Release.7z This is binary-editing update. RE: Tools updated! - DCoder - 13.04.2007 You could also tell us what exactly you changed... Edit: Oh, the middle panel starts off visible. Excellent. And my scrambled MIXes stay protected. Doubleplusgood. Note, the server is currently configured to serve .7z as plain text, so you should right click the link and "Save Link As..." instead of just clicking it. I cannot change that, only Ren can. RE: Tools updated! - Renegade - 13.04.2007 pfft..."never touch a running system". You don't really think I'll restart apache, risking everything to crash and be unavailable, just because VK opts not to use universally supported formats like zip, rar, or tar.gz? RE: Tools updated! - Bobingabout - 13.04.2007 unless you fixed the PNG errors in XCCMixer 1.45, i ain't touching it. I'll stick to 1.42. and whats with the 7zip format? couldn't you stick to a common format like zip, rar, or tar.gz? EDIT, i click on that link, and it just crashes Firefox. EDIT: PNG still crashes, i ain't touching it. RE: Tools updated! - IcySon55 - 13.04.2007 I told him not to use 1.45 1.44 is the latest png working version. RE: Tools updated! - Bobingabout - 14.04.2007 actually, i'm pretty sure the PNG is brocken in 1.44 too, thats why i use 1.42, i have 1.44, there must be a reason why i don't use it. RE: Tools updated! - IcySon55 - 14.04.2007 I use 1.44, PNG definitely works. RE: Tools updated! - VK - 14.04.2007 Quote:and whats with the 7zip format? couldn't you stick to a common format like zip, rar, or tar.gz?.7Z - the best format, which I have ever seen. Better compression than RAR, and totally free (unlike RAR format) Quote:I use 1.44, PNG definitely worksOK, I will update 1.44. RE: Tools updated! - Nighthawk - 14.04.2007 With WinRAR installed, IE recognises the 7z file and just downloads it like a normal file. Also, I wouldn't say RAR isn't free. WinRAR can still be used long after the 'trial' finishes. Also, there's bound to be some sort of freeware or open source RAR program out there somewhere. RE: Tools updated! - DCoder - 14.04.2007 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAR says there isn't, except for old RAR versions. And, using it after the trial expires is still wrong... RE: Tools updated! - Bobingabout - 14.04.2007 can't you just stick to zip? i mean, windows opens zip, so, its the format most people will be able to open without having to download any other tools to extract it. (i remember saying the same thing to PD when he used RAR. its more for other people than myself, remember all the people saying "Rockpatch won't load" because they double clicking the .rar without an extractor tool?) RE: Tools updated! - VK - 16.04.2007 XCC Mixer 1.45 U with PNG support . Download it here: http://files.renegadeprojects.com/Rock%20The%20Battlefield/C&CVK_s_Files/XCC_Mixer_1_45_U.7z Quote:except for old RAR versionsI use 3.41, is it old?
