Should Launch Base support RA2? - BrianPrime - 01.03.2007 As long as Launch Base supports Red Alert 2 mods (Not Yuris Revenge) I will use it. Yuris revenge removed a lot of old code that I need to reintroduce certain units/features in my mod, such as the beachable transport. RE: [split] Multiple non-conflicting mods - Marshall - 01.03.2007 At this point Launch Base is for YR only and won't work for Red Alert 2. It had never occurred to me to support RA2. There would need to be several changes to allow RA2 support and this would take some time, but I am willing to consider it if enough people want it. I think supporting RA2 in Launch Base might make more RA2 mods known about, and would assist them. The situation with plugins may be a bit awkward... but in theory RA2 support shouldn't be too difficult. Launch Base will not support FinalAlert 2 (only FinalAlert 2 YR). |
