Ahem, excuse the pun. Renegade got it in my head.
In case it's not yet clear what feature I'm talking about... it's the Ion Cannon Ripple Effect:

That's a tricky question. Ever since I got this new PC, nothing lags at all
So I'm afraid you'll have to see for yourself when you test it.

No, it's just a visual effect like the screen shaking with ShakeXhi and friends.
