Slight problem (possibly because of TFD) - MRMIdAS - 04.10.2008 I was getting a box saying "one or more game executable's have been modified by a third party", now I've not installed any third party patches until ares, so this came as a bit of a surprise, ANYWAY, I've now got round to fully reintalling (just in case), and the error keeps coming up, even though it's a fresh .exe I am using TFD, and was wondering if that was the problem? RE: Slight problem (possibly because of TFD) - Marshall - 05.10.2008 I do apologise, this is most definitely a bug in LB. I've only included the checksum for the original YR ra2md.exe, not the t.f.d version. I will correct this for the next version of LB. RE: Slight problem (possibly because of TFD) - MRMIdAS - 05.10.2008 No worries man. RE: Slight problem (possibly because of TFD) - DCoder - 05.10.2008 Administrative Notice:Fixed the word filter nonsense.RE: Slight problem (possibly because of TFD) - Bobingabout - 06.10.2008 TFD TFD TFD TFD, lol, no more <The_Fucking_DVD> bullshit EDIT: ha ha... see attachment ¬.¬ RE: Slight problem (possibly because of TFD) - Marshall - 14.10.2008 Fixed in version 0.99.225 (thanks MRMIdAS) RE: Slight problem (possibly because of TFD) - MRMIdAS - 15.10.2008 Glad I could help EDIT: Just downloaded and it's STILL saying my exe is modded, yet It's the one you got the checksums off. RE: Slight problem (possibly because of TFD) - Marshall - 15.10.2008 Argh! I can see why - Launch Base determines whether or not you've got TFD based on whether or not the original registry entries are present. So you must have whatever patch it is that adds the original registry entries. I need to figure out another way to check this, or at least check the other checksums if the first check fails... RE: Slight problem (possibly because of TFD) - MRMIdAS - 16.10.2008 Can't you tell launch base to look at the registry and determine which version is installed every time it boots? This would also help if you re-install to a different location RE: Slight problem (possibly because of TFD) - Marshall - 16.10.2008 It already does that - but the rules is "if original registry entries are present then user does not have TFD". I need a better check. RE: Slight problem (possibly because of TFD) - Bobingabout - 16.10.2008 (16.10.2008, 09:48:38)Marshall Wrote: It already does that - but the rules is "if original registry entries are present then user does not have TFD". I need a better check. do it the other way, check if the TFD entry exists first, since TFD can have both entries, but box YR only has the original. RE: Slight problem (possibly because of TFD) - Marshall - 18.12.2008 I've put in a much better check for the next version however I have one thing to finalise: If both TFD and Original are found, and both have YR installed, which one should Launch Base prefer? At the moment it prefers the Original but I have no opinion either way... RE: Slight problem (possibly because of TFD) - DCoder - 18.12.2008 Original IMO. RE: Slight problem (possibly because of TFD) - Renegade - 19.12.2008 Original. RE: Slight problem (possibly because of TFD) - Bobingabout - 19.12.2008 I farted on my hand, and now it smells like onions.... oh wait, Original. |
