- Big Jah - 07.12.2005 Did you try to set ImmuneToRadiation=false tag on buildings? - Bobingabout - 07.12.2005 the warhead i'm specifying is a poison, not a radiation, so the "ImmuneToPoison" tag should make units immune and "ImmuneToRadiation" shouldn't. as i explaind, infantry are melting using Nukedie instead of shattering using Icedeath, and harvestors, which are immune to radiation are not getting hurt, when my frostbite and freeze tank which should be immune do get dammaged, and destroyed/melted. so, its clearly using RadSite warhead instead of NitRadWH. so i'm saying that PD didn't un-hardcode that 1 properly... The InfDeath is the biggest giveaway. lol, notice my dodgy temp barracks image or hunty's render i forgot to blank off the 1-15 and 240-255 pallete colours when applying the pallete.... Whats with my second nearby radiation site? - Tratos - 09.12.2005 Ok, i've added these to the wishlist but wasn't sure how often it's looked at by Pd, so im just throwing in my ideas. Fix the currently unworking CloakStop= tag PenetratesBuilding=yes/no, same as penetrates bunker but deals damage out between occupants of civilian buildings An area effect superweapon that allows you to promote units within the radius by one stage, like the crate effect. Unhardcode the MagnaBeamColor= tag, possibly allow customixation from the weapon itself rather than the generic tag. - Tratos - Bobingabout - 12.12.2005 Tratos;date=Dec 9 2005, 01:28 PM;post=2118 Wrote:Unhardcode the MagnaBeamColor= tag, possibly allow customixation from the weapon itself rather than the generic tag.isn't that already on there? I've got 2 wishes to add myself add new immunities(I think this is already on there anyway) FIX THE DAMN NEW RADIATION WARHEAD!!! kinda makes my efforts to make liqued nitrogen useless if the warhead is just going to be the radiation warhead... - Bobingabout - 16.12.2005 is it just me, or had PD disapeared again without telling us anything? i havn't seen him on MSN for ages... i've been trying to tell him about the problem with RAD warhead... - Blade - 16.12.2005 He's probably just taking a break from everyone hounding him with patch requests so he can enjoy xmas or something. - Awrethien - 16.12.2005 Well if he is I hope he has a nice christmas. - Guest - 18.12.2005 About immunities, I think something like ImunneToWeapons= could be better. - Saberhawk - 19.12.2005 AFAIK, immunity is applied to warheads - Guest - 19.12.2005 I know, but I think this would be better for weapons for more customization. - Bobingabout - 19.12.2005 i'd say stick to warheads, if you want to costomise weapons more, just clone the warhead for each weapon. - pd - 20.12.2005 Immunities will be for warheads, Bobing named the reason. I'm aware of the Radiation problem but currently I'm not really feeling like re-updating the IDA database, re-finding (if that was possible) all the routines and naming them. I'm currently not feeling C&C at all, so, sorry 1.07b still isn't out. Argh. But I know it works, I tested it. I'll send the thing to Marshall right now. It will provide all the announced fixes. That's all I can do for now and for a while. BTW, I'm not working on the Christmas mod either. I hope I don't disappoint anyone but I've not been interested in any graphics making, coding or similar recently. And due to Christmas, NewYear and holidays and me being on parties everyday these days, that'll stay as it is for a while. See ya later then :bye2: :bleh: BTW: Thanks Awrethien I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a cool entrance to 2006! - Marshall - 21.12.2005 I'm in the process of making the new patcher right now. The following information is for those who write their own mod installer and need to check the Rock Patch version. Due to developments with the CRP, etc. The version control file has changed: The file "yrcrp.ini" has been replaced with "gamemdrp.dat" and contains the following text: Code: ;gamemd.exe Rock Patch version information The Version= flag should be used to determine the version of the Rock Patch that is installed. The Version format remains as previously agreed. Other third part components (such as the TX) will each include their own version file when they are next updated. I apologise for any inconvenience caused by this change. - Marshall - 24.12.2005 I sent the program to pd shortly after my last post. Today (3 days later) the mail I sent was bounced back claiming I was an "e-mail address harvester". I am presently away on holiday and so will upload the patcher for pd some time next week. Sorry. Edit: patcher is now in pd's hands - pd - 04.01.2006 released. sorry for the delay. thanks Marshall |
