You gonna make a list of the things that we should avoid doing(e.g. putting certain units into IFV that could cause a crash, etc) when you release the RP? As in, for those obvious things on player's side(like the above-mentioned IFV unit combo case). That'll at least help the players avoid disappointment when they stumbled upon a crash bug that ruins their gameplay(esp when one spent alot of effort acquiring something that can't be used, and the consequence of using it is to crash their game). RE: Yet another delay - BaRaKa_ - 20.08.2006 I think PD is NOT adding this kind of "surprises" on purpose. They can be side-effects of other improvements, like the original game bug when HoverPad=yes on building gived IE when AI fires Nukes. If PD would start testing for errors THE ENTIRE options and all the stuffs modders could try, we would still wait for 1.01 release. As for errors still not fixed, well, we now know some of them, and it is OUR duty to find others and to fill the bug-reporting page... just to give PD more work - trying to find out what is wrong and how to fix... but he's patient and ( still ) willing to help us. RE: Yet another delay - Renegade - 20.08.2006 There's always the Bughouse to get an idea of known bugs RE: Yet another delay - DCoder - 20.08.2006 Quote:They can be side-effects of other improvements, like the original game bug when HoverPad=yes on building gived IE when AI fires Nukes. A fix for that is already known RE: Yet another delay - ZombyDragon - 20.08.2006 The supprise feature isnt a side-effect or useful bug, the supprise ones are generaly someone alot of people want or would like. |
