Launch Base Wrote:Version 0.99.121 [2008-07-30]
Removed all EVA sounds except for 'downloading files now'. Removed 'EVA Sounds' option.
Fixed crash that would occur if you had a modified executable.
Fixed issue of Launch Base automatically closing after attempting (successfully or otherwise) to launch a mod.
Fixed infinite message box loop that would occur if you entered an invalid value in the Mod Catalogue Refresh period text boxes.
Fixed bug where switching on or off YR or RA2 mods wasn't clearing the mod lists before re-populating.
Added new Game Option: 'Custom command line switches'. This will allow you to enter command line switches that aren't offered by the normal Launch Base options. This is mainly for new switches that might be offered by Syringe/Ares. Note that use of such switches is not supported!
I also fixed a bug in the installer for first-time users where the default install directory was pointing to the RA2 executable.
Launch Base Wrote:Version 0.99.200 [2008-08-04] - First public beta test release
De-selecting 'Show RA2 Mods' and 'Show YR Mods' at the same time could cause a crash. It is no longer possible to turn both off at once.
Improved efficiency of the log file consolidation that occurs on Launch Base shutdown.
Tools no longer have to include a program to launch - they can be documentation only.
If a mod fails to activate then Launch Base will no longer report that the game failed to record a video (you never got as far as launching the game).

The beta test is now public. I should stress that the DCoder DLL is still in production so only pre-compiled mods will work 100%.

UMP8 is released too (get it via the mod catalogue).

The download URL for the Launch Base setup program is
http://marshall.cannis.net/LaunchBase/LB_Setup.exe
Updates to both LB and LBMC today. DCoder and pd will be especially interested in these updates (more on that later). I am in the process of moving the website so most auto-update stuff is broken right now. For now you'll have to download updates manually:

http://marshall.strategy-x.com/LaunchBase/LB_Setup.exe
http://marshall.strategy-x.com/LaunchBas..._Setup.exe
I'd like to notify everyone that there's a brand new LaunchBase category at the bugtracker -
I don't know if this is official, but using this system makes issue tracking and solving more easier!

Edit by DCoder: bad english.
Indeed yes. If there's a bug or feature request that you can express with clarity in the bugtracker then please do.
"Component 'msinet.ocx' or one of it's dependancies is not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid

EDIT:

file can be downloaded HERE just put it in the launch base directory.

MORE EDIT:

I have just uploaded build 216 which I believe should fix both of these problems.
Please let me know.
YAHOO!

That's a yo general!
Im not sure if this counts as Launch Base or Counts as Ares but Considering you download the Map pack from Launch Base I guess this is the place.

You activate plugin I thought UMP 1.002 Mini patch supported the Map pack? well it seems not to display the maps and crashes if you click the very bottom option in the maps list named weirdly.

except added.
Thank you both.

There are lots of strange problems with the map packs right now, however I'm fairly certain that LB isn't responsible for the IEs.

I'll try to fix the LB issues tomorrow and then we'll see if the IEs still occur.
I haven't been able to replicate the crash, but the issue with maps not showing up has been fixed in build 217.

Please can you try again and let me know if you can replicate the crash.

I am now closing this generic beta test thread as the beta is now public and getting more aggressive testing - please can any new bug reports be posted as separate threads in this forum. Thanks.

EDIT:
I won't be announcing every new LB build released - major bug fixes and new features will still be announced somewhere.
