PNGtoSHP tool
#1
Today, I wrote a small tool Smile
PNG files -> SHP 8 bit + C&C PAL
(Very good for SHPs with separate palettes, like GLSMD.SHP)
If anyone interesting,
it's here:

well, i personally will never use it. there are a few points, but i'll list 2.
1. my latest GLSMD.SHP is a 16bit SHP (i know, new format in 1.10 might require me to re-convert it)
2. i know how to make XCCMixer do this (however, there are a lot of people who have problems in XCCMixer)

I write ten times in my program: Don't use it in mods.

i know, i read it, but, it looks way better, and i only have 1 single 16-bit SHP. also the mod version will be RPCE only, when you release RP 1.10, i'll release a mod update for that version of RP.

I have to agree with VK, although not on such expressions, XCC is most certainly sub-optimal.

You should remove it now Unhappy
however this is undocumented feature, so I can release RPCE #0051, which will fix it Big Grin

well, i don't want to return to a 256 colour image, so, i'll leave it as is, like i said before. if i were to post it, you'd notice the MASSIVE improvement from my old loading screen in 256 colours.
