Yet another delay
#16
almost everything...
the "radiation does not disappear" problem is pretty strange, that's why i might require to put it all back to original code, then recode the stuff.

might take an hour or more once I'm at it

#17
What exactly is it trying to do? Does it simply not know how to remove it? Or does it not know what to do next?
#18
Yes it's working very strange...

I *think* (hope) I found my mistake.
it's a very technical mistake which you probably wouldn't understand, and I don't quite know how to explain it now.

Anyway, I rewrote most of it from scratch again and I'm gonna test my new code tomorrow and hope it works.

i don't stand a hope in hells chance in understanding it if you don't even try to explain it Tongue
just remember, i write my own software, so if anyone here other than cncvk is going to understand it, it would most probably be me. (not trying to say anything bad about anyone else)

anyway. glad it's sorted Thumbs up

there was radiation although there was none, a major bug in the deletion code which confused the game.
radiation is definitely fixed now, it even works in campaigns (tested first Soviet mission)

but there are bad news as well, "Savegames fixed" can be striked through on the features list, they still don't work at all
@CnCVK:
Dunno if you ever tried saving a game and then loading it again.
it will always fail at 0x6CF3DD, that division-by-zero thingy, I couldn't figure out yet what's wrong so it gets there.

anyway, I'm gonna release this version (hopefully) today.

Paradrop also work very bad...
if you try to paradrop units...
BTW, it's NOT RP bug, it's original bug
I try to paradrop units using teamtype and action #80Unhappy
No changes.

paradropping works fine, I think you already found my cool "trick" to make it work easily Tongue
I was planning to recode the paradrops later (make more things customizable), so you don't have to fix anything there

I just modified the radiation of one weapon, so everything should be fine.
the saves don't work though.
and the value I added to the Cell class needs swizzling, it's a pointer to a RadSite. my swizzle code looks allright (just like all the other things).

Er.. PD.. Sunday is 20th.. 19th is Saturday.. which day are u talking about for ur definitive release date...? lol =p
#25
With all these push backs we're never gonna get it out.
#26
what push backs?
the problem was serious bugs I didn't notice before.
the release dates before weren't definitive, just estimates.

and that's the actual reason why I don't like estimates.
Sunday the 20th (fixed now) is definitive though.
