Attention: C-Gen is gone
#1
I recently got a message from C-Gen with links to some "nice" porn movies, Firefox warned me ("Reported Attack Site!"). Also some similar threads exist. I propose to not click these links and use youporn.com instead or switch over to Firefox + NoScript.

No, the page that is linked is defined as attack site. Sry for misunderstandings

Uh, yeah, C-GEN's been toast since mid-august or so. Spam gets dumped there everyday now. Something to be said for having a single point of failure, I'm sure.

Ah, I see...Shift eyes *reports C-GEN*

Just kidding LOL
But yeah...I wonder why the hostees stay there, other than maybe due to domain memory reasons?

The hostees that are still there, save for TX, are about as active as Cannis is. Either they haven't noticed, or they have moved on to other things.

Update: the domain registration expired last night, cannis.net is now under domain squatters' control. A jolly Christmas present, isn't it. I did actually entertain a thought of buying that domain when it expired, but obviously squatters are faster.

I hope everything important (tutorials and stuff) was saved from there...doubt it, though. Unhappy (headshaking)

Farewell, C-GEN. Without you, the community would not have been the same.

The server is still running even though the domain name has lapsed. I've PM'd the IP address to DCoder and Renegade in the hope that they can retrieve anything useful that should be preserved.
