Apparently Not Installed - OmegaBolt - 04.09.2008
Basically I cant install LBMC because it says "Launch Base not installed", does the same after downloading any mod, plugin etc. I installed it at the default location (Ra2 directory so - D:\Red Alert 2\LaunchBase) adn I can run it fine, it appeared in the start menu after installing as well.

Does reinstalling solve it? Which OS are you using? Seems like LBMC can't find some registry keys. Check if

Yeah, I tried reinstalling it and I'm on XP Pro.
That registry on mine is just 'Launch Base' and not 'YR Launch Base'.
EDIT: So I rename it and voila, it works... Dont see how this error could have occured though.

The reason the error occurred is because of a case of arse-brain on my part.
I recently renamed YR Launch Base to Launch Base (after all it works on RA2, YR, FA2 and third party tools - not just YR), and the name is used for the registry entry. I will fix this tonight.
The problem only affects fresh installs of build 217.

If you already have a previous version then you won't be affected - it's only new installs.
Anyway, build 218 is available now.
